I finished Severance. It was good.

yes I’ve done a weekly review, and yes that feels better.

I always think that using the Pomodoro technique seems a bit silly and wouldn’t work, but then when I do use it - when I’m caning through a load of admin or something- I really do feel like I’m getting more done, and better. Not sure if I really am, but either way it feels good

haha looking back at my previous posts here it looks like this is definitely the place I go to say “I AM SETTING UP A NEW WEBSITE” and then quietly leave.

“Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.”

OK so my plan is to actually finish setting up an 11ty site for little posts and then hook it up here. I’m OK with that all the way up to the point where it leaves my computer… once it comes to deployment etc I get a bit lost. I guess maybe I’ll look at using GitHub Pages?

I got a Stream Deck for my birthday and it’s a lot of fun to play with.

Now I’ve got more useable (Python) code on my computer, I need to find some kind of sane way of organising it

Not sure if anyone here is into that sort of thing but we’re doing a live group-solve of the Guardian cryptic crossword tomorrow at twitch.tv/CrypticSunday (12 noon UK time). You’d be welcome to join us.

I’ve decided to start this 100 days of code thing. First getting a bit better at Python then I’ll brush up on CSS and JS and do up my website. Again.

OK I’ve installed the iOS app now…

Keep meaning to get back to micro.blog - I’ve now (temporarili) an iPad so I guess now is a good time?
